(exploding) – We see a lot of new stuff, and sometimes new stuff doesn't really seem that new.
But, this is something really different.
This is from PolyCase Ammo.
And, what it is – the projectile is a blend of polymer and copper dust.
Okay – that's wild.
Now, the way they've designed these bullets is these are not expanding bullets, but they are defensive bullets.
So, you have these grooves cut here, and I guess, the wayit's explained to me is, it's like if youkink a fire hose or a garden hose, it's designed to send that waterpressure going through, so it still creates a big wound cavity and creates a lot of damage.
Now the thing is, this is a.
45 auto, 114 grain bullets, so that's much lighter than the standard.
It's going 1,150feet per second, so it's got some nice velocity.
I think where we can see this as an interesting use is for our small, concealed carry guns.
This is the Springfield XDS.
You're gonna get more velocity out of this short barrel, and you're probably going to have a little bit less felt recoil.
Let's shoot it.
We got light bullets from PolyCase going fast, and we've got a Springfield XDS, a little gun and.
Let's see how this does.
(gun fires) Wow.
Yeah, I mean it doesn'tkick you around, buck you around.
But, we got some water here.
I figured, let'sshoot that, too.
(gun fires) (exploding) (gun fires) Ooh, yeah! I got wet.
All right, let's see what this did.
Blew the first one up.
Blew the second one up.
Blew the third one up.
And the fourth one has a hole in it, too.
Actually, we've got a projectile down there.
Let's take a look.
(water pouring) Look at that.
(laughs) They said it doesn't expand.
It didn't change shape at all.
But, we got four jugs.
That's pretty neat.
Check it out.
